Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Poeia account and all associated server-side data at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to request deletion.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your user profile (Apple user identifier, email address if provided)
- Your subscription record
- Your Sign in with Apple token (revoked with Apple)
What Is NOT Affected
Poems, word collections, and query history are stored locally on your device only and are not affected by account deletion. They remain on your device until you uninstall the App.
Option 1: Delete in the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in Poeia:
- Open Poeia and tap the gear icon (Settings).
- Scroll to Account Management.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm with Face ID or Touch ID (Apple re-authentication).
Your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation.
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you no longer have access to the App or your device, you can request account deletion by emailing:
Please include “Poeia Account Deletion” in the subject line. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
